Commercial HVAC in Hampton Roads fights heat, humidity and salt air for most of the year. Rooftop units that don't get regular coil cleaning and filter changes lose capacity right when you need it most.
What we service
Rooftop units
Gas/electric packaged units and packaged heat pumps: compressors, fans, belts, economizers, controls.
Split systems
Condensers, air handlers and furnaces for dining rooms, offices and storefronts.
Controls
Thermostats, programmable schedules, and zoning so you're not cooling an empty building.
Replacement
Right-sized replacement units with crane coordination when needed.
Signs your rooftop unit needs service
- Dining room won't get below the mid-70s at peak hours
- Unit runs all day and never shuts off
- Water dripping from ceiling diffusers
- Musty smell when the system kicks on
- Squealing belts or grinding from the roof
- Utility bills climbing with no change in hours
Maintenance that pays for itself
Commercial units should be checked at least twice a year: once before cooling season and once before heating season. Filters, belts, coil cleaning, condensate drains, refrigerant temperatures and electrical connections. Restaurants often need more frequent filter and coil service because of kitchen grease.
Flat-rate, approved first. We diagnose, tell you what failed and what it costs to fix, and start only after you approve the price. No surprise add-ons on the invoice.
Common questions
How often should a commercial HVAC system be serviced?
At least twice a year, before summer and before winter. Restaurant units near kitchen exhaust usually need filters and coils cleaned more often.
Do you replace rooftop units?
Yes. We size the replacement to the building, coordinate the crane when one is needed, and handle the curb adapter, connections and startup.
Do you work on offices and retail, or only restaurants?
Both. Restaurants are our specialty, but we service commercial HVAC for offices, retail, churches and other light-commercial buildings too.
