Planning a gas line
We start by adding up the input ratings of every gas appliance on the line, including the ones you already have, and checking the meter and pipe sizes. Undersized gas piping is why a new range or tankless water heater can starve the furnace. Once the line is sized correctly, we install it, pressure test it, and connect each appliance with a proper shutoff.
Natural gas and propane
Most of Hampton Roads is served by natural gas, while many rural homes in Suffolk, Isle of Wight and Chesapeake use propane. Appliances are set up differently for each fuel, and we work on both.

Yes. Ace Mechanical's Virginia contractor license includes the gas fitting specialty.
Do I need a permit for a new gas line?
In most Hampton Roads cities, yes. We'll tell you when one is required and handle it.
