- Protect your product. If the box is above safe temperature, we'll tell you right away so you can move product to a reach-in or another box while we work.
- Diagnose the whole system. Box temperature, coil condition, airflow, refrigerant pressures and temperatures, defrost operation, and the door.
- Flat-rate price. We explain what failed and give you one price for the repair. Work starts when you say go.
- Verify it's holding. We watch the box pull down before we leave and show you the reading.

Keep it from happening again

Common questions
What temperature should a walk-in cooler be?
Most operators keep walk-in coolers between 35°F and 38°F so food stays safely under Virginia's 41°F cold-holding limit even when the door is opened a lot. Walk-in freezers are typically set between -10°F and 0°F.
Why is my walk-in freezer icing up?
Common causes are a torn door gasket or a door that doesn't close, a failed defrost heater or timer, a frozen drain line, or a door frame heater that stopped working. Each lets moisture in or stops the coil from defrosting.
Can you fix it the same day?
Most walk-in repairs are done on the first visit because our trucks carry the common motors, controls and electrical parts. If a compressor or a specific part has to be ordered, we'll tell you the timeline and help you keep product cold in the meantime.
Do you service the box itself or just the refrigeration?
Both. We repair the refrigeration system and the box: door hardware, gaskets, heaters, strip curtains and relief ports.
