Houses built before central air. Much of Ghent, Colonial Place, Larchmont and Park Place was built before central air existed. Ductwork was added later, often undersized, and many homes still heat with boilers. We work with what the house has, and we recommend ductless systems where adding ducts doesn't make sense.

Flooding and tides. Parts of Larchmont, Edgewater, Ocean View and the neighborhoods along the Lafayette River see tidal flooding. Outdoor units on raised stands, and electrical disconnects above flood level, protect the equipment.
