What areas do you serve?
All of Hampton Roads: Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown, Poquoson, Williamsburg, Smithfield and nearby.
What are your hours?
Open 7 days, 7 AM – 8 PM. Call (757) 495-7782 for emergencies and we'll tell you how fast we can get there.
How does your pricing work?
We diagnose, then give you a flat-rate price for the repair. Work starts only after you approve it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Virginia contractor license #2705120886, fully insured.
Do you work on restaurant equipment?
Yes, it's our specialty: walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, ranges, fryers, griddles, ovens, water heaters, booster heaters, drains, gas lines, rooftop units, exhaust fans and make-up air.
What is the Kitchen Care Plan?
An all-inclusive maintenance program for restaurants: one team, one schedule and one invoice for refrigeration, cooking equipment, plumbing, gas and HVAC, with priority dispatch.
Do you repair all HVAC brands?
Yes, all major residential and commercial brands.
Do you offer financing?
Ask when you call about a replacement. We'll go over current options.
Do you do plumbing?
Yes. Our trucks say heating, cooling and plumbing. Leaks, drains, fixtures, water heaters and gas lines, for homes and restaurants.
How much is a service call?
For home service calls, the diagnostic is $75, and it's waived when you approve the repair. Commercial rates are quoted on the phone.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes, on new heating and cooling equipment. We also give free second opinions on quotes from other companies.
Are you open on weekends?
Yes. Ace is open 7 days a week, 7 AM to 8 PM.
Is Ace family-owned?
Yes. Ace Mechanical has been family-owned and operated in Hampton Roads since 1986, and it's run today by owner Kevin Clarke.
Do you install new systems or only repair?
Both. We repair first when it makes sense, and we install new AC, heat pump, furnace, mini-split and water heater systems with free estimates.
How do I prepare for a service visit?
Clear a path to the indoor and outdoor units, note any error codes or noises you've noticed, and have the age and brand of your system handy if you know them.
